The DMO planner came about from a need I had in my own Network Marketing business that started way back in 2003. I quickly became a busy mom of 3 littles under 3 and found myself working my business in stolen moments throughout the day. I had to have a plan each day or I would find the hours slipped away and even with the best intentions, I wasn’t putting in the time needed to really move my business forward.

Four years in, I had a HUGE why because our family faced a BIG financial crisis. My income became PLAN A overnight. I believed in my company and this type of business model, so I got to work. DMO was taught by many successful people on my team, but I couldn’t find a planner that had what I needed and it was frustrating trying to adapt planners I bought to my business.

In 2009, I designed a DMO planner and invested in having them professionally printed and bound. When anyone saw it, they wanted it and I knew I was onto something. I got incredible feedback that the consistency that using this planner created helped people move forward with their business and I saw the same thing with my own promotions into top leadership in my company. We moved across country, away form my printer and binder company, sold all of the planners I had and I never had another run of planners printed.

And yet the DMO planner was always at the back of my mind as a someday project…
